As mentioned previously, iDriver enables a user to manually apply finishing options to a spooled file. The steps below will outline how to do so. Choosing option 2, Work with iDriver Spool Files, will display the following screen.

From this screen, you may enter a specific iSeries user profile to view a list of spools owned by that user. Otherwise, pressing the F5 function key will enable a view of spooled files by out queue.
At this point, you may navigate to the desired spooled file. Once you have found it, select a ‘7’ next to the spooled file to manually apply finishing options to that specific spooled file. Otherwise, an option 5 may be placed next to the spooled file to verify that the spooled file to view the contents match contents of the file needing finishing options applied. Once a ‘7’ has been placed next to the desired spool file, the finishing may be specified as shown below.

From this screen, pressing the F4 function key, when the cursor is located in the prompt for the iDriver type, will show a list of supported Toshiba Printer drivers. Just below the prompt for the iDriver type is the Driver application. Prompting for the Driver application, will display a list of valid iDriver applications. Doing so for any of the other options: Print Mode, DIN Number, Collate, Duplex, Output Bin, Stapling, Hole Punching, Paper Size, and Orientation will display a listing of valid options for that specific finishing function. Once all of the finishing options have been assigned, and a valid out queue has been provided, pressing enter will generate a new spool file with the applied finishing.
